Authorities are searching for a driver accused of battering an elderly victim in a road-rage incident in the Hammocks.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on Sept. 14 at a residential neighborhood at 11448 Southwest 185th Terrace.
Deputies said surveillance video captured the driver using a pepper-spray canister and spraying the victim through her open passenger window.
As an investigation continues, deputies said the road-rage incident stemmed from a minor traffic collision.
The driver then fled the area in a newer model Mercedes-Benz.
The sheriff’s office on Tuesday released a flyer with photos of the person and vehicle they’re trying to identify.
