A tree fell onto a coach bus on Interstate 95 in Westport on Monday morning.
Firefighters responded to the highway for a report of a tree that had fallen onto a coach bus around 6:45 a.m.
Once emergency crews arrived, they said they found a large tree blocking all travel lanes after it a coach bus. The tree also reportedly broke one of the bus’s windows.
At the time, investigators said there was a driver and 15 passengers on the bus. Minor injuries were reported, but everyone declined to go to the hospital, fire officials said.
The state Department of Transportation removed the tree from the road.
