An oil truck rollover caused a spill in Monroe on Monday morning and the road it happened on is expected to be closed for an extended period.
Firefighters said a fuel oil delivery truck rolled over and is actively leaking at the intersection of Guinea Road and Hattertown Road.
An environmental emergency crew is on scene mitigating the spill. The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has also been called.
The road is expected to be closed for an extended period of time.
No injuries were reported.
