A 12-year-old on an electrical bicycle was hit by a car in Milford on Sunday.
Police said the boy on the electrical bicycle was hit from behind by a Subaru Forester in the area of Welchs Point and Midwood Rd.
The boy suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The operator of the Subaru was arrested for operating under the influence after not passing his field sobriety test.
Welchs Point Road was closed but has since reopened.
