Residents of Northeast Philadelphia are being warned to remain vigilant after a string of robberies have targeted women walking alone into or out of banks, police said.
According to police, at least four robberies since Aug. 5 in Northeast Philadelphia have targeted lone women as they enter or leave banks.
The robberies have all occurred between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and police said that multiple vehicles have been used.
Here are the dates and locations of the four robberies, according to police:
- 8/5/2026- 6500 Castor Avenue
- 8/12/2026- 2200 Cottman Avenue
- 8/21/26- 9501 Bustleton Avenue
- 9/14/26- 2014 Cottman Avenue
