An 18-year-old was shot in the head and killed in a Northeast Philadelphia corner store on Monday night, police said.
The shooting occurred inside a store at 899 Marcella Street at around 8:46 p.m., police said. However, police believe the shooter chased the unidentified man from the street into the store.
A stolen gray Nissan Altima that was crashed into a parked car was also found at the scene with its doors still open and engine running, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
At least 26 shell casings were found at the scene, and two homes had shots fired at them, but no one inside the homes were hurt, police said.
No arrests have been made at this time, and no motive has been determined.
