The good news (and kind of the bad news) this week is that Penn State had a stress- and drama-free win over Buffalo.
You could tell Taylor Mouser was tinkering with the run game, the Nittany Lions’ defense was largely lights-out, and Koby Howard continued to prove that he could be a star. Only a few complains about the team’s performance popped up on social media, mostly after a dude of an opening drive and a later first-half offensive stall.
It really wasn’t long before the offense started clicking again, and the defense was certainly holding up its end of the bargain.
I will continue dedicating a section of this post to Koby Howard, who’s off to a historic start for Penn State. Again, where was he last year?
While Penn State’s win was a bit of a snoozer, the college football world was buzzing once again this weekend. Lane Kiffin’s return to Ole Miss was the marquee matchup of the weekend, but NC State lost in such an unbelievable fashion that it may have just been the ending of the year.
