Tomato soup kits sold at Walmart recalled over possible listeria contamination

Tomato bisque soup kits exclusively sold at Walmart have been recalled in 29 states over concerns of possible listeria contamination.

Kettle Cuisine LLC announced a recall of its 14-ounce Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup Kit, which was sold between June 30 and July 7, according to an alert from the Food and Drug Administration. The recall affects 3,240 packs with the UPC 194346474004 along with the best buy date of 8/22/26.

The kits were sold in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

The recalled kits are sold in a wrapped tray and marked with a product description label and printed use-by code.

The company has received no confirmed reports of illnesses linked to the soup kits, according to the FDA alert.
