There is no way that the Steelers are going into the season with two unproven rookies backing up a QB who will be 43 years old before the end of the season. It would be a different matter entirely if they didn't have MR on the roster but that's not the reality of the situation. Furthermore, this is by design. Do you really think it would be a good idea to throw either of the kiddies to the wolves if AR goes down? If either of them failed to play like BB 2.0 (who benefited greatly from an All-Universe OL in front of him and an HOF running back behind him), they would be booed off the field by the end of the first quarter. Given both their draft positions and their college tape, the odds of either of them balling out under those circumstances are vanishingly small.
So, regardless of how much the Rudolph-Hating Dumfux scream, yell, rant, rave, whine, snivel, caterwaul, stomp their feet, hold their breath and scream at the sky, MR isn't going anywhere.
