The reason the NBA has bigs ……. Real Bigs. Is cause most of them do 60% of the dirty work. Rim protection is dirty work. They take most of the banging and physicality of the game. There is an art to dealing with this. Guys like Draymond are genius at it. Unfortunately undersized bigs like Green. Even today where there is less PT for true bigs. Gets more wear and tear at their position. These players pay a price. Warriors just don’t understand that. Wagonneers don’t have that vision. Real centers even playing 20 mins a game. Help prolong careers of 4s and 3s. Protects them from injuries. By taking more banging. By rim protection. Keeping players out the paint. This is why passing on a free pick like Raynaud. For a team that needs a true center. Is a real problem. A true center is an asset to any 15 man roster. Why are the Pacers looking at Missi. Wagonneers don’t learn till it’s too late. Clarkson could be well received in Orlando as Jones should be traded as well as Jonathan Isaac, none of which are contributing to the Magic cause.

I get the reasoning of resetting the roster via the Avdija trade since you literally had nothing to build on at that time. Even though said roster did get reset, the jury is still out on the return you got for Deni. Bub Carrington is still a mixed bag, still young with potential sure, but has not become the main ball handler that was hoped for. He does still have potential as far as that goes and his 3 point shooting ability. But right now its still a tough pill to swallow seeing how far Deni has come along. Time will tell how the trade looks in the end but right now it looks Portland fleeced the Wiz. At some point though, Keefe needs to get the boot. Mind boggling rotations, little to no structure for how the offense runs, terrible team defense (some individuals are playing solid D) though the directive is probably still trying to tank while seeing "competitive games" under a very thin veil. Which is why he has to go, in my opinion by the beginning of next year. He's not likely to turn into a coach driving his team to winning after driving them intentionally/unintentionally to lose.
