‘SNL' taps Druski and John Mulaney to host November episodes

“Saturday Night Live” will see a fresh face and returning star host next month.

The show announced the lineup for its first two November shows on Thursday. Druski will host on Nov. 7 with the Strokes as the musical guest before John Mulaney and Phoebe Bridgers take the reins on Nov. 14.

Druski will make “SNL” history as the first digital content creator to host in the show’s 52-season history. After rising to fame online, he will step onto the stage ahead of the release of his new scripted comedy series, “Collect and Praise,” which will debut on Netflix in December. He already took on a different hosting gig earlier this year at the BET Awards.

Mulaney, on the other hand, is an “SNL” alum and experienced host. The comedian served as a writer on the show from 2008 to 2012 and hosted six times, most recently on Nov. 2, 2024, during Season 50.

“SNL” will return on Halloween with “Obsession” star Inde Navarrette and singer Gracie Abrams. Their spots on the Oct. 31 episode were announced on Sept. 9 alongside the hosts and musical guests for the first three episodes of Season 52.

New York Knicks point guard and NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson hosted the season premiere on Sept. 26 with musical guest Katseye. Actress Dakota Johnson took over for the Oct. 3 episode with Turnstile performing, and comedian Shane Gillis hosted on Oct. 10 with Rosalía as the musical guest.
