Police released photos of an unidentified man who allegedly sexually abused a woman on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train earlier this month in an alert on Tuesday.
Around 6:38 p.m. on Sept. 10, the man allegedly sat behind a woman on the train and “inappropriately touched her” before fleeing at the Irving Park Blue Line station, police said
Police released a photo of the man they say is allegedly responsible for the crime in the alert.
Police advised transit riders to always be aware of their surroundings, call 911 to report anything suspicious and to never pursue someone who flees after committing a crime.
Images of a different man who allegedly groped a woman at the Division Blue Line stop were released by police earlier this month.
Authorities said he sprinted toward the victim while on the platform at the stop and reached under her skirt. An arrest has still yet to be made.
Police are also looking for a man they say approached a 25-year-old woman on platform at the State and Lake station around 9 p.m. on Sept. 3, groped her and then fled.
No additional information was immediately available.
