A woman was uninjured after she accidentally backed a vehicle into a suburban Cary home on Tuesday.
Just after noon Tuesday, firefighters were called to the 700 block of Fox Trail Terrace for a report of a motor vehicle striking a home.
According to authorities, a woman was at the wheel of a sedan when she accidentally went too fast while reversing, striking a support column on the garage.
The collision caused significant damage to the home, and a crew was called for a structural evaluation of the property. According to authorities, the home is still habitable, though both the home and vehicle suffered damage.
The woman was uninjured, and did not require medical treatment.
