Even as summer comes to an end in the Chicago area, the Windy City Smokeout is giving music fans something to look forward to next year.
The annual music festival has announced its headlining acts for the four-day event in 2027, and the list is topped by Florida Georgia Line, according to officials.
According to officials, the Academy of Country Music’s “Artist of the Decade” will perform a headlining set at next year’s festival, which is set to get underway on July 8, 2027.
Four-day wristbands for the festival will go on sale Friday, with a presale beginning on Wednesday according to a press release.
In addition to Florida Georgia Line, Megan Moroney, Riley Green and Tucker Wetmore will also serve as headliners for the four-day event, which takes place each year in the parking lots around the United Center on Chicago’s West Side.
The festival brings together country music fans and some of the best barbecue pitmasters in the Chicago area for a four-day extravaganza of music and great food, according to officials.
Moroney has had multiple albums certified platinum by the RIAA, including 2024’s “Am I Okay,” which was nominated for Favorite Country Album at the American Music Awards.
Green, who will debut as a coach on NBC’s “The Voice” this month, is a five-time Academy of Country Music Award winner, and was nominated for Best Male Country Artist at this year’s American Music Awards.
Wetmore captured the New Male Artist of the Year award at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, and was nominated for Breakthrough Country Arist at the American Music Awards.
