Mike Vrabel, Drake Maye scheduled to speak ahead of Sunday's game: Watch live

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and quarterback Drake Maye are scheduled to speak on Friday afternoon, just over 48 hours before New England is scheduled to take on the Denver Broncos in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.

Vrabel is scheduled to speak around 1:10 p.m., and Maye at 1:30. You can watch them live in the video player above.

This will be the Patriots’ 13th appearance in the AFC title game in the past 25 seasons.

The Broncos have a 4-1 edge in the playoff matchups between the teams, winning all four games in Denver. The two most recent meetings were in the AFC championship games during the 2013 and 2015 seasons, and were both won by the Broncos. Denver’s 20-18 win in the 2015 AFC title game on Jan. 24, 2016, was the final meeting between quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Both teams are dealing with some injuries heading into Sunday’s game. Patriots cornerback Carlton Davis began the week in concussion protocol, but practiced in limited fashion on Thursday. Linebackers Harold Landry (knee) and Marte Mapu (hip) sat out Thursday’s practice. Wide receiver Mack Hollins, who has missed the team’s last four games due to injury, was a limited participant at practice on Thursday, but it’s too soon to say if he’ll be ready to go. Center Garrett Bradbury sat out practice with an undisclosed illness.

For the Broncos, wide receivers Troy Franklin (hamstring) and Pat Bryant (concussion) both participated in practice this week, as did running back J.K. Dobbins, who had foot surgery in mid-November. Center Luke Wattenberg appears ready to return from injured reserve. He went on IR with a shoulder injury last month.
