A teen was injured after several shots were fired into a residence in Hamden, according to police.
Officers responded to Bowen Street around 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his legs. He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Police said that multiple unknown individuals entered a residential driveway and fled after firing several rounds into a residence that was occupied at the time.
Detectives are actively investigating this incident.
According to police, there is no known ongoing threat to the public.
