
A Connecticut teen was killed in a crash in Falmouth, Maine on Saturday afternoon.
State police said they responded to a report of a car that had gone off the road into the guardrail on the Falmouth Spur eastbound near the on-ramp to Interstate 295 north in Falmouth around 2 p.m. Saturday.
Troopers responded along with Falmouth fire to find the driver of a Subaru Impreza trapped inside her vehicle. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Joamaliz Orozco, of East Hartford, Connecticut, was rushed to Maine Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Weather and road conditions are believed to be the cause of the crash, state police said. The investigation is ongoing.
