Two people stole about $50,000 worth of jewelry from the Connecticut Post Mall on Saturday, Milford police said.
At 6:21 p.m., officers said they responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the mall. When they arrived, they said no shots were fired but found three jewelry cases smashed.
The people entered through the Macy’s entrance with hammers and broke the case, according to police.
No injuries were reported, police said.
