Maurice Mathis has committed to Alabama, and he is set to join the Crimson Tide really soon.
Mathis is a 2026 wide receiver out of Houston County High School in Georgia. He is officially a member of the Tide’s 2026 class after reportedly signing with Alabama. The Tide now has eight scholarship wide receivers on its roster.
The new Alabama signee is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide receiver. He is a deceptive route runner who flashes the ability to create separation at the top of routes. Mathis is also elusive after the catch.
