An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 130 in Edgewater Park, New Jersey, early Sunday.
Welther Briggs, 51, of Willingboro, New Jersey, was walking on Route 130 South at the intersection of Pennypacker Drive around 2 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Route 130.
Briggs died from his injuries.
NBC10 responded to the scene early Sunday and spotted a red Ford Escape that appeared to have minimal damage to the front driver side headlight.
