Antisemitic writing was found on a vehicle in Wethersfield early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to Valley Crest Drive for a vandalism complaint around 5:30 a.m.
When police arrived, they said they found a swastika and antisemitic writing on a vehicle.
A canvass of the neighborhood led to the discovery of of five other instances of racial, antisemitic or explicit sexual images on vehicles, fences or street signs, investigators said.
Similar cases were also reported in Rocky Hill.
Around 10:40 a.m., similar vandalism was reportedly discovered at the Mill Woods skate park.
