Smoke could be seen pouring from underground in Center City Philly early Friday because of a faulty air conditioning compressor on a PATCO train, officials said.
According to PATCO officials, at about 11:40 a.m., smoke was reported on the platform at the 15th and Locust Station.
An investigation found the cause of the smoke was a failed air conditioning compressor on a PATCO train, officials said.
No injuries were reported throughout this incident.
After this issue was addressed, officials said, service resumed at the station at about noon.
