Manchester police say a 49-year-old man is arrested with multiple charges after police went to his home on an active domestic violence warrant. The warrant included charges of third-degree assault, second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.
They say, as part of the investigation, officers on scene executed a search warrant and found 9 firearms that the suspect was prohibited from having. They say 3 assault-style weapons were found alongside ammunition and 3 silencers.
The man is charged with 5 counts of violation of a protective order, 9 counts of criminal possession of a firearm, 2 counts of theft of a firearm and 3 counts of illegal possession of an assault weapon.
He is also charged with alteration of a firearm identification mark/serial number, 2 counts of possession of a silencer and criminal possession of ammunition.
He is held on bonds totaling $1,150,000 and is scheduled to appear in court.
