He isn't worth market top for CB, but wants it, so here we are. Show them you can play without holding and grabbing and maybe you'll get your contract. It all depends on how comfortable they are with him walking in FA after 2026. He has a lot of holes in his game, so maybe they are ok with him walking if he won't sign what they consider a reasonable deal. He isn't close to being as rounded and consistent as Withersoon, Ward, McDuffie or Stingley, so he doesn't belong in the $30M per discussion. He can track a WR pretty well outside of the elite guys, but he doesn't create turnovers, he's a holding machine, he's too slight to be an effective tackler (and gets injured every time he tries).
