It makes no difference who’s better today (and I’m not sold on that person being Howard either), what matters is who has the higher ceiling. One of those players had a full season of preparation under him. The other was drafted a few months ago. Howard should be miles ahead of Drew right now, and he isn’t. And that’s why, gun to your head, you keep the 3rd rounder over the 6th. But you had your mind made up on him likely since the pre draft process. Nothing he can do will impress you.
