And if you need a ST guy that week, call him up.But how does this make more sense than doing it the opposite way: having the ST guy on the roster all along, contributing each week, and calling up the true RB from the practice squad for those 3-4 games? (edit to add: 100% agree that neither Homer nor Lil' John Paul Jones is a true RB. And ideally they'd have an RB3 who does both: good 4-phase special teamer + serviceable or better emergency halfback. If that's not Lew Nichols, maybe they can find a better rounded RB3 after cutdowns to replace the whole lot of 'em.)
