let me present the argument I made differently --
Homer has provided no evidence in preseason that he delivers any value as a RB. Nothing that Nowakowski and Nichols couldn't do better (blocking, running, catching).
I would think that his ST role could also be equally covered by some of the same players. Some that will make the 53 (Nowakowski) and some that will will probably be on PS (Nichols, Castro).
