Yes..once a player who is on a teams season
“opening game” 53 man roster…they are safe from another team trying to poach them.
If they place a player on the practice squad
any team in the league can sign any player
from another teams pratice squad..but the
claiming team is required to place the clai-
med player..on their 53 man roster for a mi-
nimum of 3 games.
