Keith Jones Jr. did not receive a star rating during his recruitment, but he joined Grambling State as a member of the 2024 class. He redshirted for the entire 2024 season and did not appear in any games. During the 2025 season, he started twice and appeared in 12 games at wide receiver for the Tigers. He caught 32 passes for 450 yards and five touchdowns and finished the season as the team’s leading receiver. Jones transferred to Penn State in January of 2026, one of five incoming transfers at wide receiver for the Nittany Lions.

Jones had a very solid redshirt freshman season last year, but the lack of FBS experience compared to the other transfers is likely to keep him lower on the depth chart this year. He still has three years of eligibility remaining, so there is plenty of time for him to make an impact at Penn State.

Only 15 more days until Penn State’s season opener against Marshall!
