One person was killed in a multi-car crash on the northbound 5 Freeway in Santa Clarita Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 3 a.m. near Magic Mountain Parkway.
According to CHP, this was a multi-car crash involving a semi truck.
The crash left only one lane open and drivers were being diverted off at Valencia Boulevard.
A Sigalert was issued and expected to cause delays up to one hour.
