Gas leak prompts traffic shutdown near Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center

A report of a gas leak shut down traffic Saturday afternoon near Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center, the San Jose Fire Department said.

The leak near the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Cottle Road, which was reported about 4 p.m., prompted the shutdown for a block in all directions, the Fire Department said on social media.

The leak was eliminated about 6:30 p.m., firefighters said.
