Rahzario Edwards announced his commitment to Ole Miss after the Rebels 31-3 blowout win over Missouri flipping his pledge from Cal.
Edwards is a 6’6” 210 lbs tight end from Sacramento, Cali. and became the 23rd commit for the class of 2027. He had been reportedly committed to Cal since May earlier this year.
In the enormous state of California, he is ranked No. 25 overall, and he is the No. 14 tight end in the country, according to On3. With his frame, he could easily put on more weight to fit his position or stay lean and be an absolute weapon on offense in different routes.
Edwards’ commitment boosts Ole Miss in the latest On3 recruiting rankings to No. 13 nationally and now seventh in the SEC. The Rebels have 14 four star commitments now and have just about put the finishing touches on this class of prospects.
Edwards had plenty of offers to pick from including USC, Oregon, Syracuse and of course Cal. According to On3, Cody Woodiel and Donte Moncrief were responsible for his recruitment to Oxford.
