It annoys me so much how much stuff Valve does that is genuinely awful gets swept under the rug by the pc die hards. Like Sony is currently getting so much flak for announcing they are going all digital and gamers don’t own their licenses. Valve has been doing that for 20 years! He’ll last year a guy tried to take ownership of his dead dad’s Steam account and valve told him to kick rocks but there was no backlash for it at all. Cosmetic microtransactions, loot boxes, battlepasses all invented by Valve yet the pc crowd continues to chant “valve is the most pro consumer company ever” when they have done so much harm. I just don’t get it. Like good will was established with massive Steam sales but it has been years since they offered actually good discounts now that they know they have a monopoly on the pc market.
