Law enforcement officers in armored vehicles swarmed a San Bernardino neighborhood Wednesday after someone opened fire on police as they responded to a domestic violence report.
The shooting was reported near East Colston and Richardson streets, where police were called about the domestic violence report and a shooting. At least two people were injured in the early morning shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a victim outside the home and another on the porch. As they moved closer, shots were fired from inside the house.
No officers were injured.
Details about the injured victims’ conditions and what led to the initial shootings were not immediately available.
Nearby streets are closed for the law enforcement response.
