Pete Golding is doing Pete Golding things again.
The first year head coach went into the Peach State and pulled out a gem with four star safety Giovanni Tuggle for the class of 2028. This is the second commit in three days for Ole Miss after a thrilling top ten win over LSU.
Tuggle is ranked as the number four safety in this class and is being pursued by dozens of schools including Ohio State, Clemson, Texas and Nebraska. The 5’11” 180 lbs. prospect is currently playing at Winder-Barrow High School.
Tuggle’s commitment marks the fourth player in the class of 2028 to pledge to the Rebels. According to On3 recruiting, Ole Miss currently has the No. 2 ranked class in the nation for the class of 2028 behind only Ohio State. Yes, you read that right, currently Ole Miss leads the entire SEC in future prospects for the class of 2028.
A long, long way to go with this crop of prospects, but Golding and his staff are doing a lot of work prepping for the future of Ole Miss football.
