For the Rams, their short Australia trip was a dud as they opened the year with a 27-7 loss to the division rival San Francisco 49ers. Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald and Co. then rebounded in Week 2 with a 28-6 win over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
Speaking of Monday Night Football, the Denver Broncos opened their season with a similar loss to a division rival in a standalone game, falling 31-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs.
