It is year three for Marvin Harrison Jr. and we’re two games into the season. His current stat line is just one reception for 33 yards. That is far, far from what many would have expected now that he’s healthy to begin a season while boasting two years of NFL experience, regardless of how up-and-down they have been.
But the NFL is a “what have you one for me lately?” business and when players go too long without being able to offer a strong response to that question, things tend to spiral in the wrong direction.
Can Marv find a way to turn it around despite this lackluster start? Is this just a bad blip on the radar and he just needs more time? Is there such a thing as giving him more time in year three? Sure feels like history is not going to be kind to his current career path, but we’ve all seen crazier things happen in the NFL.
