The TCU Horned Frogs earned their second win of the season Saturday evening, outlasting Arkansas State 31-7.
Despite a slow start, TCU finished with 468 yards of offense and quarterback Jaden Craig completed 21-of-29 passes for 337 yards and three touchdowns (one interception). Jeremy Payne led the TCU ground game with 86 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries, while Ed Small went for 164 yards and a touchdown on seven catches.
Kari Ashley and Ka’Morreun Pimpton each made touchdown catches and Ashley ended the evening with 87 yards on five catches. Defensively, TCU generated two sacks and six pass breakups without forcing a turnover. Jamel Johnson, Ansel Din-Mbuh and Hudson Hooper each finished with seven tackles for the Horned Frogs.
