Week five broadcast details (October 3 weekend) were released Monday, and BYU at TCU will kickoff at 5:00 MT on either ESPN or ESPN2. If you’re into that sort of that thing, that is 1 hour after the Saturday afternoon session of General Conference ends. Arkansas at Texas A&M is the other option that will either be ESPN or ESPN2.
BYU is 3-0 and has a bye this week while TCU has its Big 12 opener at UCF on Saturday. TCU is 2-1 on the season with a season-opening loss to UNC and wins over Grambling and Arkansas State. Running back Jeremy back is back at TCU after rushing for over 600 yards last year, and through three games Payne has rushed for 307 yards.
TCU brought in Harvard transfer Jaden Craig as the starting QB. Craig struggled in the season opener versus UNC, but has thrown for over 300 yards in each of the past two games versus subpar competition. BYU beat TCU 44-13 in Provo last year, which snapped a 5-game losing streak in the series for the Cougs.
