A two-vehicle crash early Saturday on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Prince George’s County left multiple people injured, according to U.S. Park Police.
U.S. Park Police said officers responded to the crash at about 2:50 a.m. near MD-197. The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in a rollover and fire.
Authorities said that out of the six people were injured, four of them were transported to local hospitals, some with life-threatening injuries. Their ages and identities have not been released yet.
Police have not confirmed any fatalities.
The makes and models of the cars involved in the crash also have not been made public as of yet.
During part of day Baltimore Washington Parkway was closed off while police cleared out the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
