It may be for a week, or maybe it is going to be quite a bit of positive moving forward, but the reality is right now, the Arizona Cardinals are not the worst team in the NFL.
They are not even among the 10 worst teams in the NFL according to our friends from Yahoo! Sports.
In their newest 2026 power rankings for week two, the Cardinals cracked the top 20 of this weeks power rankings.

18. Arizona Cardinals
Great win in Mike LaFleur’s debut. Too soon to move the Cardinal way up in the power rankings. One interesting factoid is this is first time in Jacoby Brissett’s career he has had same WR/TE group around him for second straight year in his career.
To see the Cardinals in the top 20 is actually impressive, because it was the way they won, that made people turn their heads.
We will see how it goes moving forward, but after week one we at least get the Arizona Cardinals getting a little love.
