Lady Gaga is a mother now—in more ways than one. Because she was always a mother, but as of Friday, she also has a child.

We knew something was up with Gaga after her so-called friends told the Daily Mail that she and fiancé/maybe husband Michael Polanksy have been MIA all summer. The inside sources theorized to the outlet that the couple had eloped and gone on a honeymoon. Now we know it was actually a baby moon. Page Six was first to report the news on Friday, after obtaining photos of Gaga and Polanksy on a walk in Northern California as Gaga carried a newborn.

Later, an inside source confirmed the news to People, saying that the couple “both took time off of work this summer to be with [the] baby,” and that they “both beam when they talk about being parents.” Well, congrats, Mama Gaga! And congrats, Baby Gaga too, for being born into the world with Lady Gaga as your mom. That’s impressive.

“Michael seems lighter, happier,” the source added to People. And while “the baby’s name, sex, and date of birth are not known at this time,” per Page Six, we can speculate… OR we can come up with our own dream list of baby name contenders that, if the new parents don’t use, you should definitely steal for yourself. Why? Your average kindergarten roster has way too many Milos and not nearly enough Chromaticas… and why is that? Chromatica is a beautiful and timeless name for a girl.
