The Spain women’s national basketball team beat Australia 89-66 on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup.

Washington Mystics guard Alicia Florez scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Megan Gustafson led Spain with 16 points.

For the Opals, Alex Wilson and Chloe Bibby led with 13 points each.

Spain now advances to the semifinals. They will play the USA on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.
