The 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup is underway wtih the knockout rounds underway. Currently, these are knockout games for four quarterfinals spots. The United States and Spain (the two teams with Washington Mystics players) have made the quarterfinals by winning their groups, but are waiting to see who their final opponent will be.
The USA now knows that they will play Hungary in the quarterfinals. The match is tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. ET in Berlin. Hungary defeated Japan, 84-63 in the qualifier yesterday.
Minnesota Lynx forward Dorka Juhasz is the top player for the Hungarians, where she is averaging 15.3 points and 11 rebounds per game.
