The France men’s basketball team defeated Slovenia, 92-67 yesterday in Paris at Accor Arena. The Washington Wizards have Bilal Coulibaly and Alex Sarr as part of the pipeline. They were not named for the roster yesterday however. Sarr is recovering from foot surgery earlier this offseason, but he should be ready to go this fall.
As one of the top teams in the world, France should easily make the FIBA World Cup next year. Hopefully, we’ll also see Sarr and Coulibaly playing for Les Bleus as well when the World Cup happens.
