Los Angeles Angels 2026 home opener weekend: Schedule, tickets, giveaways

With the 2026 MLB season in full swing, it’s time for the Los Angeles Angels to take the SoCal spotlight and play ball at home.

The Angels kicked off their season on the road last week and this week with games against the Houston Astros and the Chicago Cubs. Now, the team’s home opener series goes down this weekend at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.

Here’s the Opening Series Weekend schedule at home, plus a look at this season’s fan giveaways.

Friday

  • Pregame: The 4th Annual Home Opener Red Carpet event goes down at the Big A from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fans can expect appearances from players, exclusive interviews, photo opportunities, and entertainment.
  • Start time: The Angels’ Home Opener against the Seattle Mariners starts at 6:38 p.m.
  • Tickets: Single-game tickets to the game are sold out via the MLB’s website, but additional “fan to fan” ticket options are available through SeatGeek starting at $36.
  • Giveaway: The first 25,000 ticketed fans in attendance will score a free Angels wall calendar.

Saturday

  • Start time: The Halos continue their Opening Series Weekend against the Mariners; first pitch is at 6:38 p.m.
  • Tickets: Tickets are still available, starting at $17.
  • Event: Fans can expect the first Saturday Night Fireworks of the season at this game. Pro tip: Saturday Night Fireworks will fly high at the stadium 12 more times throughout this season, on select dates from April to September.
  • Giveaway: The wall calendar freebie continues. The first 25,000 ticketed fans in attendance will score the giveaway.

Sunday

  • Start time: The series wraps with one more game against the Mariners; it starts at 1:07 p.m.
  • Tickets: Tickets are still available, starting at $11.

  • July 29: City Connect beach towel (Beach Week is July 27-Aug. 2 at the ballpark)
  • Aug. 12: Mickey Mouse Bobblehead (just in time for the 2026 D23 Expo in Anaheim)

By the way, Family Sunday & Kids Run the Bases will take place on select Sundays, this season too, including the first one on June 14.

Games and activities for the kids will be available at the Gate 5 courtyard until the top of the 6th inning. At the top of the 7th, families can start lining up at the Gate 5 courtyard for kids ages 3-13 to hop on the field after the game and run the bases.
