Take the opportunity for a fresh start. Rodgers showed his ceiling and it's not enough. Bring in Willis or Mac Jones. Let Will Howard take run at this thing. Either is a better solution than Rodgers. Going 9-8 and losing in the wild card is a worse scenario than going 5-12.
I'm not and won't ever promote "tanking", but take a big swing at something different. If it fails there's still upside to that. You have to do something to break the log jam. Don't add more logs to the jam.
Hitting on Will Howard/Malik Willis or missing on Will Howard/Malik Willis can both provide the jolt this team needs to move forward.
