I was not a Willis fan when he came out but he definitely has been developed well by the GB coaches. They did a nice job with him.
Could he be the guy? Maybe. He’s only really done it for a couple games (not his fault there). But he could hurt us in that he may be ‘just good enough’ to win 9 or 10 games only.
And that purgatory is why we are where we currently sit.
I think our problems run deeper. For instance, the D has some good young talent but needs to get younger. That will likely take a couple seasons IMHO. So, even if Willis is the one, we need other things refurbished as well. Though I grant you that finding the QB1 is top priority.
