Iran will join the "alliance" if it ever forms and holds. I am basing my views on the fact there was a military alliance called CENTO (it was formed on 24 February 1955 by Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, and the United Kingdom as a part of NATO). The UK was added by the US to make sure someone is watching the boys to ensure they behave in the Western interest. The New addition is S. Arabia and Iran will join soon because the others have realized they need to stick with each other or they'll be devoured by the US or permanently held as the US subordinates. None of them like that.
