Former Mountaineer Curtis Jones Leaving WVU for ACC Rival

After leaving WVU late in the transfer window, Curtis Jones has found a new program. On Saturday, Jones revealed he’s going to transfer to Virginia Tech and play for new Hokies head coach James Franklin.

In addition to playing a bandit role on defense, Jones was utilized as a short yardage running back due to a depleted depth chart with injuries.

Jones recorded 22 total tackles, two pass deflections, one sack and one forced fumble while also running for 24 yards and scoring three touchdowns.
